Our Topic This Month:

Our Topic: Everyone Is a Target - How Can Cybersecurity Help You?

Our speaker is Ryan Wehrs of Federated Insurance.  Ryan is a Marketing Representative for Federated, covering Minneapolis, but this isn’t a sales presentation.  This is about taking preventative steps today that can keep your business safe!

We’ll provide an overview of the importance of implementing cybersecurity measures to protect against evolving threats, including ransomware attacks and phishing. We’ll also look at real-world cases to gain insights from some of the many ransomware incidents.

What Will I Learn at This Session?

  • How cybercriminals use AI-powered phishing and deepfakes.
  • Best practices for ransomware prevention and response.
  • Why employee training and monitoring are vital.
  • Steps to choose the right cybersecurity tools and providers.

What’s the Bottom-Line?

Two things.  First, to protect your business!  Cybercrime is real and it’s costly to deal with.  Our industry may not seem like a target, but the reality is that every business, in every industry, is vulnerable.

Second, we believe that contractor interaction is vitally important to making better, more informed business decisions, and that’s why MHCA is hosting these quarterly meetings – for members and the broader industry – to gather and learn from one another!

One idea.  One conversation.  One new contact.

Just one, and you could make/save your company thousands of dollars.
